After 3 flights we finally made it to Reno in the afternoon yesterday, but they had given our rental car away. So they got a driver to take us to another Enterprise rent a car and from there we went to 3 different sporting goods stores to find oars for our inflatable raft.
We then stopped at a Boston Market, which is just flat out amazing food and made it up to Tahoe and crashed.
Today the work started. We were up by 7 and spent the day taking UV profiles around the lake. While it may not sound exciting, everyone kept asking us what we were doing. Everyone out here is a lake junky, so they love when they see scientists.
Tonight we're going out for Mexican food, and then we found a tightrope outside, so we're gonna see if we can learn to be circus performers.
