Stuff on the Street

I see stuff laying around town all the time. Most of it is useless junk, beer bottles and cans and such, that is not worth mentioning. Today was different. Walking back from class, I came across a crutch leaning up against a tree. It really makes you wonder how it got there. And where is the cripple? The universe is full of paradoxes.

  1. Call me old-fashioned, but I sure do miss the days when Eric would actually pick up and take home the things he came across on the street...

  2. yeah yeah, well I am not a cripple so I don't have much use for a crutch and I don't think the underground market for gimp gear is all that strong these days. Hope your recent visit was fun, didn't see much of you (did I see you at all?)

  3. you did see me. i managed to beg my way into a hug from you somehow while we were at 45. the visit was spectacular, and i will be returning for the weekend of redhawk hunt. would you pretty please like to be on my time? our only stipulation is this: we cannot win because i am not a miami student. :)

  4. i think you mean team. I may be able to do that. Or at least act like i am on your team while I hang out with and distract your team.

I have no recollection of such a hug. I was a little drunk most of that day.

Lastly, I miss the old days when I was not the only contributor to this publication.

  5. i did mean team initially, but from your description it seems more fitting that i ask you to be on my time, because those activities are mostly what i spend my life doing. they are trying to figure out who is on it by wednesday, so let me know if you want to!

i miss those days, too...word on the street is that we should be expecting a west coast post from smola upon his return next week. forrest is a lost cause, and i am not quite sure mike was ever a "cause" to begin with when it comes to this blog.

  6. i was thinking i would just be a floater and not actually be on any team. That way when I get drunk there will be no consequences.
